How to stick to resolutions? Really!

The question of the century, hence so many blog posts, comments, articles, social media selfies and posts, articles, even books and movies about it! Yet the foundation goes back to how to set and accomplish goals. I want to say that this is your year and that you will accomplish anything, but I have to keep it real, it all depends on your consistency, discipline and inner strength power.

Since I don’t want this post to be another rah-rah 2015 note (don’t get me wrong some of those are great too), I want to give you some tools that have serve me great purpose in the past couple of month to achieve great things emotionally, physically and even financially. And I honestly believe this is key to how to stick to resolutions once and for all.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

TIP #1. DECIDE – As basically as it sounds you have to DECIDE & COMMIT. Don’t sell your self short by saying, “I’ll try ____ this time” say “I will ______ by March 10, 2015 5K”, meaning that you need to see yourself accomplishing what you want and put a date to make the goal real!

TIP #2. Pick a Plan or Program that is Realistic.
Too basic too, but if a specific plan is asking that you eat 5 small meals throughout the day and you’re in a job or position that doesn’t allow you to take that time out to eat during those time frames, that plan is not going to work for you!!! And it goes without saying… the same thing if the plan you are on requires hours of cardio
and you only have 30 minutes in your day, it’s not going to work. You  want something that not only adds and fits into your lifestyle, but is REALISTIC for your lifestyle. (NOTE: That’s why for me is sooo important that you fill out the form in the link more than push you the deal of the month. I want you to defeat the odds and WIN!)

Be accountable to yourself and find others you can be accountable to whether a group, family member or friend. WHO is it that you can share what you’re after and they will help you stick to your goals?
